Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
Location: On site at Cedarfield: Premier Senior Living (2300 Cedarfield Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23233)
Compensation: Starting at $57 /hr (dependent upon experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Process new patient referral prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
- Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians to ensure efficient medication preparation and dispensing.
- Provide client care, including patient follow-up and monitoring clinical data.
- Provide assistance to nursing home and assisted living nurses/prescribers
- Input information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain safety practices and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Prioritize customer focus, build trust and respect with internal and external customers.
- Complete the clarification queue for pharmacy
- Must adhere to the Code of Conduct, follow Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
Qualifications:
- Degree in Pharmacy is required, PharmD preferred
- License to practice in state required (Must be in good standing)
- Minimum of 1 year working in a healthcare environment as licensed pharmacist
- LTC Pharmacy or related environment preferred
- Knowledge of Frameworks and Docutrack information systems is strongly preferred
- Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time during shift
Skills + Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must have ability to problem solve
- Strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills
- Must have the ability to employ critical thinking skills and ability
- This position includes access to highly confidential information including protected health information (PHI) - the Associate must follow Federal and State HIPAA/Privacy laws and maintain compliance with the company’s policies and professional ethics
- Ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and/or lift, carry, push or move objects and stand or perform data entry on a computer for extended periods of time during shift
- This position requires the ability to understand direction and adhere to established procedures
- This position requires near vision acuity and color recognition
