Uganda is a land of contrasts. In half a day, you can drive from mist shrouded volcanic mountains to hot hazy savannah, dappled with wild life, serene undulating hills of tea plantations, lush but ordered, giving way to tangled jungle and rain forests with the musical accompaniments of chaotic, cacophonous bird life. It indeed presents Africa in one small place. It is amazing!
Uganda boasts of 10 National parks, 12 Wildlife reserves and 10 wild life sanctuaries. This is for the Wildlife enthusiasts. But that’s not all that Uganda offers the descending traveler. Our land always has something exciting for everyone. You can choose the Mountain Gorilla experience, go fishing, relax at the white sand beaches of Lake Victoria, and for the adrenaline junkies, a trip down the thundering river Nile on a white water rafting adventure will surely come in handy. And just so you know, Uganda is a birders haven. In Uganda, you can see all of Africa.
On this 10 day safari, we will visit four of Uganda’s 10 National parks, including Murchison falls checking out the big 5 including the rhino along the way and the four in the park, Kibale National park to play with the chimpanzee, head to Queen Elizabeth National park for an extended water safari as well as catch sight of the tree climbing lions, and climax into the Bwindi impenetrable forest to visit with the Mountain Gorilla.
This is a bucket list safari in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.
